Ayahuasca is deeply rooted in the Shipibo culture and is an important source for their healing practices, wisdom, art, and way of understanding life.

The intention of the ayahuasca ceremonies is to make a connection with your essence, to cleanse/heal your emotional and physical body and to gain understanding and insights into your life experiences. While following a plant diet the ceremonies are a deepening of the process of your diet.

Ikaros: The maestro/maestra sings their ikaros during the ceremony. Through singing the ikaros they bring guidance, healing, wisdom, liberation and protection into the ceremony. The plants are the foundation of the ikaros, and the maestros are transporting its energy through singing. The maestros receive and learn the ikaros during their many plant diets.
