The Santuario
The Santuario is spacious and located near a lake where the sun disappears in the evening, and jungle animals give concerts at night. It has 14 tambos (cabins), a maloka (ceremony space), and a dining room. The tambos each have their own eco-toilet and are with care and a sense of privacy spread out over the area; some deeper into the jungle and others closer to the openness of the Lake.
The centre is located in the Peruvian Amazon along the Ucayali river, a 30 minute walk from the Shipibo community of Santa Rosa de Dinamarca, after a 3 hour boat trip from the city of Pucallpa.
The Santuario is an authentic experience of jungle life. You have the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world and modern conveniences to find a deeper connection with the jungle and your own nature.
